The vinyl edition album entitled ‘ Una y Otra Vez’ available June 18th 2022 !!!
Bruno Garcia, a famous guitarist on the alternative French punk rock scene, is also the founding member, singer and band leader of the group SERGENT GARCIA. The band performs an original mix of punk, Caribbean music, salsa and reggae - a fusion of styles that Bruno has christened ‘Salsamuffin’.
In this collection of titles, recorded in both Colombia and Cuba, and first released in CD version in 2011, SERGENT GARCIA look at tolerance and the struggles and deceit that musicians face on a regular basis.
Upon its release, the album met with instant international acclaim and was nominated for the famous Latin Grammy Awards in the category ‘Best Tropical Fusion Album’.
More than ten years after its initial release, the artist has decided to offer his fans a re-mastered limited edition, orange vinyl version. The release is due to coincide with the 2022 ‘Disquaire Day’ event.
The album, full of joy and party tracks, nonetheless reminds us in poetic terms of some of the challenges facing the World. The record includes ten tracks, the most famous of which is Una Y Otra Vez, a hymn to resistance and an echo of the message that the artist wants to convey concerning mental and economic oppression.
